Anne W. Burrell was an actress on television, former chef of the Institute of Culinary Education and formerly teaches cooking. Anne W. Her time spent in Italy allowed her to comprehend and appreciate the Italian way of life and its culture and this has left an impression on her perception of food. Burrell is a celebrity ambassador to the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She has been on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that assists kids with disabilities. She speaks about her cooking love and imparts her experiences in the food world when she is in the United States for various roles such as speakers and mentors. Anne has said throughout her culinary career that she feels so fortunate to have the opportunity to communicate with people what is most important to her.
