Pom Klementieff

Pom Klementieff is an actress from France, French actress was born on 3 May 1986. She was a student at the Cours Florent drama school, Paris. She has been in films like Loup 2009, Sleepless Night 2011 and Hacker's Game 2015. She plays the character of Mantis, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. (2017). Avengers: Infinity War (2018). Avengers: Endgame (2019). Pom Klementieff was the child of the Korean mother, and a father who was French-Russian. Her father was consul in Quebec City, Canada. Eugene Klementieff, a painter was her grandfather. Pom was her name since it is a symphony of the Korean words "spring" and 'tiger" in Korean. The actress spent a year in Canada before her family moved frequently due to her father's job. They lived in Japan and the Ivory Coast, before settling in France. Klementieff lost her father to cancer around age five. Her mother was also diagnosed with schizophrenia. Klementieff was raised in France by her aunt and paternal uncle. Her uncle, whom she described as "like [her] second father" died at the age of 18 and her older brother was killed just seven years after, but this time on her 25th birthday. Following the death of her uncle, Klementieff was a law student for a brief time to delight her aunt. However, she did not think the path was appealing. She was also salesperson and waitress in France. She began acting at the age of 19 in the Cours Florent drama school in Paris. In the early stages of her studies, she won an award for theater that granted her free classes for two years with some of the best teachers. Klementieff was the first person to perform professionally in the independent French film Apres lui (2007). She played the role of the stepdaughter for the main character, Catherine Deneuve. Filming the scenes required three days. Klementieff was supposed to push another person down a set staircase but fell to the ground. Gael Mostl kept the footage in the film. Loup (2009) is a French film about the Siberian reindeer herders was her debut big role. She was filming in the middle of a camp located at a distance from the nearest village. The camp was where temperatures dropped to zero.
