Thora Birch

Thora Birch was born March 11th 1983. She is an American producer, actress, and director. Her first film appearance was in Purple People Eater (1988) and was awarded a Young Artist Award for "Best Young Actress Under Nine Years Old". Birch was a child actor who was in films like All I Want For Christmas (1991), Patriot Games(1992), Hocus Pocus (1993), Monkey Trouble (94), Now and Then (1995) as well as Alaska (1996). She received a Young Artistic Award in the category of "Best Young Actress Under Nine Years of Age." In 1999, Birch played Jane Burnham in American Beauty. This film earned her an BAFTA nomination. In 2001, she received a nomination for Best Actress for Ghost World. In 2003, Birch received an Emmy Award nomination for her role in the lead character in Homeless to Harvard The Liz Murray Story. Birch has also been a part of Dungeons & Dragons (2000) (2001), The Hole (2004), Silver City (2004), Dark Corners (2006) and Winter of Frozen Dreams (2009). Birch played the role of Whisperer Mary/Gamma during season 10 of The Walking Dead (2019-202). Birch was the eldest child born to Jack Birch (and Carol Connors) in Los Angeles.
